Innovatum, Inc., a provider of enterprise compliance software and services for the IBM i platform, has announced the release of its iROBAR module for label printing from the IBM i platform. Built upon the success of its ROBAR Enterprise Label Management System and three decades of AS/400 and iSeries solution development, Innovatum now boasts a solution for i labeling in the 21st century. RFID, 2D barcodes, GS1 compliance, ePedigree, track and trace are all natively supported by the iROBAR system.

While BarTender is in use at many IBM i shops, the iROBAR system provides a seamless link between the worlds of Windows and IBM i. It provides the necessary infrastructure and controls to minimize custom programming and provide for a scalable and robust solution. Using simplified API replacements, a number of new iROBAR customers have upgraded from IBM i legacy labeling solutions and are already enjoying the benefits.
